Dear Friends and Supporters,

On behalf of the entire team at Hatikvah Alliance, we want to thank you for your outpouring of generous donations in the first few days of our initiative. We are off to a fast start, but the needs from our partners in Israel are just beginning to take shape and the days ahead will be difficult.

As we move forward, we want to keep you informed on our progress and ask that you pass the word on to friends and family who may be interested in supporting our ongoing work.

In the first 72 hours since we launched our platform, here is what has been done:

Established direct relationship with the Israeli authorities overseeing inbound logistics for aid. We are now working with the highest-level authority which smooths the inbound logistics for our aid and ensures that we are matching the kit required with the specific needs of first responders and front-line personnel in Israel.
Partnered with Henry Schein Cares Foundation to complete first delivery of medical-surgical products. Henry Schein produces and distributes some of the world’s highest-quality medical products, which meet the exacting standards of the authorities overseeing the crisis response in Israel. We are thrilled to have partnered with them to provide a portion of the first delivery that was made on Friday. Photos of that delivery can be seen below.

Our focus for the days ahead is as follows:

Shipment of first 1000 Individual First Aid Kits purchased with your donations. We plan to deliver 1000 life saving IFAKs this week. These will be complete kits including tourniquets, chest seals, bandages, burn gel, and other life saving equipment.
Building a pipeline of additional aid as donations come in this week. We plan to work with our partners in Israel and at Henry Schein to establish the next flow of medical aid to be delivered in the coming weeks. This will likely include specific components of the first aid kits rather than the complete IFAK as medical personnel will need replenishment of key items as they use them on the front lines.
